Mahanadi river rafting to kick off on October 30

Bhubaneswar, Oct 25 (UNI) The fourth Mahanadi river rafting expedition is scheduled to kick off from Baliput near Narasinghpur on October 30 next.

Organised jointly by the Orissa state Sports and Youth services department, Tourism Department, Paradip Port and state Youth welfare council, the week-long rafting expedition would conclude at Paradip port on November five.

Sports and Youth Services department sources said as many as sixty youths would participate in the expedition in six modern rafts.

State Tourism Minister Devi Prasad Mishra is scheduled to flag off the expedition.
