Dhumal opens two bridges in Nurpur
Shimla, Oct 25 (UNI) Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today dedicated motorable bridge over Dhaneti khad completed at a cost of Rs 44 lakh and a Rs 77 lakh bridge over Chhounch khad on Sukhar Charuri road, to the people of Nurpur assembly segment in Kangra disrtict.
While addressing a public meeting at Dhaneti khad, the chief minister said that in Kangra district itself 4500 polyhouses were to be constructed while Rs 15.25 crore to be spent on roads and bridges in Nurpur.
Claiming that all sections of the society had benefitted with the decisions taken by the State Government during last nine months, the Chief Minister said the State Government had delivered financial benefits worth Rs 1000 crore to the state employees and pensioners and almost all their demands had been fulfilled.
He said that over 8200 vacancies had been filled up in various departments whereas 28000 posts would be filled up in various departments of the state during current year out of which 18000 posts would be filled up in education department with a view to strengthen the education structure.
