Advani, Sethi to lead Indian challenge at World Snooker Champ

New Delhi, Oct 25 (UNI) Pankaj Advani will spearhead the Indian challenge at the IBSF World snooker championship to be held at Welf, Austria, from October 27 to November 8.

The team, which is being coached by Subhash Aggarwal, also includes Sourabh Kothari and Manan Chandra.

Veterans Geet Seethi and Alok Kumar will feature in the Masters category, while Anuja Chandra and Vidya Pillai will compete in the Women's division.

The Indian camp has high hopes from Pillai, who has just returned from a month-long training in Sheffield, England.

''The federation has high hopes from Vidya after she has undergone intensive training in UK,'' Billiard and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI) vice president Ravi Tandon said.

The team will leave here for Austria tonight.
