Six SAP jawans injured in road accident in south Bihar
Bhabua, Oct 24 (UNI) At least six jawans of Special Auxiliary Police (SAP) were injured, four of them critically, in a road accident at Adwara tribal area in Keimur district today.
Police said the incident occurred when a bus carrying 22 SAP jawans from a public meeting of Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi at Adwara to the base camp here, suddenly developed technical snag and hit a tree at high speed.
Six jawans, sitting on the front row, sustained multiple injuries.
However, the driver escaped miraculously.
Soon the injured were rushed to a nearby health centre before they being shifted to the government hospital here as the condition of four of the injured deteriorated.
The bus driver had been arrested on charge of negligence, police added.
