Kathmandu, Oct 24: Nepal Prime Minister Prachanda has said that the new government fully understands the sentiments and needs of the security bodies.
Addressing a function organised by the Armed Police Force (APF) here on Thursday, Oct 23 evening, Prachanda lashed out at 'certain segments' that doubted the new government's ability to take on board the entire security bodies. "The new government understands your sentiments and needs," he said. "Those doubting the 'leadership of the new government' were wrong," he added. "I believe that those who come out of war understand better the importance of peace," he said. He said the new government can reflect the sentiments of all armed forces including the army, the police, the APF and the Maoist combatants, Nepalnews reported.
