Bangalore, Oct 24 (UNI) The City Police Commissioner Shankar Bidri today released photos of two Nokia officials wanted in connection with alleged harassment of a women employee who committed suicide on September 26.
Defending release of Photos, Mr Bidri told newsmen here, that the multinational company which had promised to help in locating the two officials accused but their cooperation is not forthcoming and there is no option but to release the photos with an appeal to the public to report to the police if they came across the accused. Ms Sonia (26), an employee of city based Nokia Siemens committed suicide with a note that she was taking the extreme step as she could not withstand the harassment from her two immediate superiors The news had stirred a hornet's next with activists accusing multinationals of not taking enough care of women employees.
Mr Bidri said that "whoever it could be one should abide by the law. We will catch these two guys at the earliest." UNI RS MSP TS1729
