Itanagar, Oct 24 (UNI) A host of companies from Czechoslovakia have shown keen interest to do business with Arunachal Pradesh and sell a wide range of products, Czech envoy in India Dr Hynek Kmonicek said.
Dr Kmonicek, who arrived here yesterday, leading a high power delegation to explore Arunachal Pradesh as a potential market, told a seminar that his country was interested to sell its products ranging from aviation, hydropower equipment, machines and tools for ultra light aircraft, banking and small brewery.
''Czech companies would like to set up their offices here if they get positive response,'' he said, adding that the products of his country were not only of good quality but cost effective as well and anyone interested could contact the respective representatives for further enquiries.
Companies like Transcon, Eldis, UL-JIH, CINK Hydro Energy, CKD Blansko Engineering, Stronjirny Brno, ZVU Potex and Komercni Banka (Societe Generale Group) displayed their range of products through power point presentations during the seminar.
As a follow-up of the fourth NE Business Summit organised recently at Guwahati by the DoNER Ministry, the 14-member Czech delegation is on a two-day visit, facilitated by the North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Limited (NEDFi), and would hold threadbare discussions with senior state government officials here today.
