Blame on Hindu organisations politically motivated: Gupt
Ahmedabad, Oct 24 (UNI) Senior RSS leader Bajranglalji Gupt today said some political parties are comparing frontline Hindu organisations with terrorist organisations, motivated by vote bank politics Mr Gupt was addressing reporters here after attending a three-day executive committee meeting of the RSS, which concluded at Visakapatnam in Andhra Pradesh on October 19.
Responding to a query from media regarding arrest of six Hindu activitists in Malegaon and Modasa blast case by Maharashtra police, he said both ABVP and Hindu Jagaran Manch had categorically denied their organisational involvement in these two incidents.
If any Hindu individual is involved in any crime, Hindu nationalist organisations should not be blamed, Mr Gupt said, adding that the propaganda was just politically motivated.
He said Indian Mujahideen and SIMI involved in anti-national activities cannot be compared with Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarathi Parishad (ABVP) and Hindu Janjagran Manch (HJM).
Five Muslims were killed in the Malegaon blast, while one Muslim boy was killed in the explosion in Modasa in Sabarkantha district of Gujarat.
However, police had picked up former ABVP member Pragya Singh Thakur from Surat, while others were taken into custody from Madhya Pradesh.
