Bangladeshi gang busted, 3 arrested, 9 cases solved
New Delhi, Oct 24 (UNI) Claiming to have solved nine cases of theft and burglary, police today said it had arrested three Bangladeshis and seized jewellery and assets worth lakhs.
Ranjan Ali (21), Mohammad Anwar and Khadiya Sheikh were arrested after investigations began into the September 20 burglary, said the police.
The breakthrough came after the modus operandi of the gang was monitored and intelligence developed, which also revealed of their Bangladeshi nationality.
Two diamond sets, two gold sets, a wrist watch and a cellphone were recovered from the gang's possession.
