3 siblings handed down death penalty over triple murder

Ambedkar Nagar, Oct 24 (UNI) A Faizabad court today pronounced death sentence upon three brothers, accused of a 10-year old triple murder case here.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Ram Krishan Gautam held four people guilty of the crime, but as one of the assassins has already died, the court handed down the capital punishment to the remaining.

According to prosecution, one Radhey Shyam of Utrethu village in Ibrahimpur colony was proceeding towards a place along with his family, when an altercation occurred with an other group over a minor issue.

Mansharam, Motiram, Jagram and Vijay Kumar of the other side had killed Radhey and two others after the spat. Six people were also wounded in the clash.

At the time of this crime, Ibrahimpur was in Faizabad, but now it falls under this district. Due to this reason, the case was being heard in Faizabad.
