Traffic official among two killed, 12 injured in Kashmir
Srinagar, Oct 23 (UNI) A traffic police constable, was among two people, killed and 12 others were wounded in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.
Three people, including a traffic police constable, were injured critically when a vehicle in which they were travelling skidded off the road near Drngbal, Pampore, about 12 km from here on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway. The injured were admitted to hospital where constable Gurpurab Singh died.
They said a passenger vehicle turned turtle at Dusoo on the highway, resulting in on the spot death of one Ghulam Nabi Shakhsaz and injuries to seven others. The injured were admitted to different hospitals.
A vehicle hit and injured two teenagers at Marval in Pulwama district, while a motorcyclist was injured after he was hit by a vehicle at Khumriyal in Kupwara district. The injured were hospitalised.
