Kannur, Oct 23 (UNI) The police today raided the house of Fiaz, who was killed along with some Kashmiri militants in a shoot out with security forces in Kashmir.
The raid, led by District Superintendent of Police, was conducted following information that one of the two Keralites killed in the shoot out in Kashmir was from Kannur district.
According to information received after interrogation of Abdul Jaleel, who was recently arrested here by the police in connection with his alleged links with the Kashmir militants, one of the two Keralites who talked to him from Kashmir was Fiaz.
However, family sources said he left for Bangalore to find a job in September last, but there was no information from him after that.
Though they tried to contact him on phone.
Police said Fiaz was involved in many cases, including attempt on the life of former Kerala Chief Minister and veteran CPI(M) leader late E K Nayanar.
