Narendra Modi urges people to make resolve for Progress

Rajula, Amreli district, Oct 23 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today called upon the people to make a resolve to work for the progress of the state and take up social causes on the occasion of 'Swarnim Sanklap'.

Addressing a gathering here, the Chief Minister said as the state would celebrate 50th anniversary in 2010, ''let everyone of us help by making one commitment that will change the colours of Gujarat'.

While outlining the theme of Kanya Kelavani Abhiyan, which would take women on the journey of progress, Mr Modi claimed that no one can overpower the state.

Mr Modi said every Gujarati should take one ''Sankalp'' for his own dream and of the state. The 5.5 crore resolves would take state forward by 5.5 crore steps. he added.

On the Occasion, the chief Minister distributed Rs 6.90 lakh prizes to 136 brilliant girl students.
