Kolkata, Oct 23 (UNI) CPI(M) State Secretary Biman Bose today said Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi did not have any right to get himself involved in any agreement.

'' The agreement, which was made in the Governor's House in the presence of Mr Gandhi, between the state government and Opposition parties for the resolution of Singur deadlock, is an announcement,'' Mr Bose, also the Left Front chairman, told newspersons here.

'' Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee continuously demanded 400 acres of land from the Tata Motors' Nano project at Singur. Why she is not raising voice inside the Parliament about her demands?'' he said.

Referring to the incidents of violence in West Bengal, Mumbai and Bihar, Mr Bose said, " All the people of the state and political parties need to unite. They should condemn it." In context of the Gorkha Janamukti Morcha's(GJM) demand for a separate state, he said, '' The economy in Darjeeling is hit by the GJM's movement as it depended on the flow of tourists. They should stop their agitation immediately since a tripartite meeting is likely to be held on the second week of November.'' UNI AKM SB RN2205
