Deepender Hooda demands airport for Jhajjar
Chandigarh, Oct 23 (UNI) Member of Parliament from Rohtak constituency of Haryana Deepender Hooda today urged the Union Aviation Minister Praful Patel to set up an airport in Jhajjar district of the state.
Mr Hooda said that in view of the heavy rush at Delhi Airport, Jhajjar would be the most appropriate place to have an airport.
He said Haryana was the only state in the country which had no airport whereas in some of the states there were two to three airports.
He expressed his gratitude to the Union Minister for relaxing the norms of having a distance of 150 kms for setting up of an airport.
