Dasmunsi's condition critical, still on life support
New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) The condition of Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, who had suffered a complete left ventricular failure ten days back, continued to remain critical.
Doctors at the Indraprastha Apollo hospital, where he was shifted on Monday from AIIMS, described Mr Dasmunsi's condition as ''very critical''.
''The medical condition of Mr Dasmunsi remains the same. He continues to be on life support,'' a statement issued by the hospital authorities said.
Mr Dasmunsi had suffered a complete left ventricular failure on October 13 and had been admitted to AIIMS.
Earlier, he had a heart attack on July 6 while on way to Kolkata from Malda after attending a meeting.
He had undergone an angioplasty and stenting of two coronary arteries in a hospital in Kolkata.
