Congress announces first list of nominees for C'garh Assy polls
New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) The Congress today announced its list of nominees for the 35 Assembly seats that will go to the polls in Chhattisgarh in the first phase of elections scheduled for November 14.
While Dr Haridas Bharadwaj will be the party's nominee from Saraipali-SC seat, Devendra Bahadur Singh has been named for Basanaand Agni Chandraker for Mahasamund.
Others who have been selected by the party are Ambika Markam (Sihawa), Lekh Ram Sahu (Kurud), Mohan Patel(Sanjari Balod), Anita Kumethi(Dondi Lohara-ST), Ghana Ram Sahu (Gunderdehi), Bhupesh Bhagel (Patan), Pratima Chandrakar (Durg-rural), Arun Vora (Durg city), Bahruddin Quereshi (Bhilai nagar), Brijmohan Singh (Vaishali nagar), Dr Shobha Ram Banjare (Ahiwara-SC), Ravindra Choubey (Saja), Tamradwaj Sahu (Bemetara), Dhru Prasad Dhritlahre (Nawagarh-SC), Mohd Akber (Pandariya), Yograj Singh (Kawardha) and Motilal Janghel (Khairagarh).
Dhanesh Patila will try his luck from Dongargarh-SC, Uday Mudilar from Rajnandgaon, Geeta Devi Singh from Dongargaon, Bholaram Sahu from Khujji, Shiv Usare from Mohal-Manpur-ST and Manturam Pawar from Antagarh-ST constituency.
The other include Ms Ganga Potal (Bhanupratppur-ST), Ms Priti Netam (Kanker-ST), Mohan lal Markam (Kondagaon-ST), Rajnu Netam (Narayanpur-ST), Lakheshwar Baghel (Bastar-ST), Ms Pratibha Shah (Chitrakot-ST), Mahendra Karma (Dantewada-ST), Rajendra Pambhoi (Bijapur-ST) and Kawasi Lakha Ram (Konta-ST).
