Bangalore, Oct 22 (UNI) Goa today had to settle for a draw despite being in a winning position against Hyderabad as rain played spoilsport on the fourth and final day of the Under-22 South Zone League for C K Nayudu Trophy.
Needing just 94 runs for victory, Goa had made 80 for 5 wickets in their second knock when heavy rains stopped play in the afternoon.
Hyderabad had made 195 in the first innings and were knocked out for just 81 in the second innings. Goa had made 182 in their first innings.
Ravindra Rawat and Badal Singh took four wickets each for Goa.
In the other matches, Karnataka pulled off an exciting one wicket win against Kerala.
Needing 171 for win, the hosts scampered home after losing nine wickets. M E Santosh's spectacular seven for 61 went in vein as Dhanajaya Muari's fighting 57 helped hosts to just reach the target.
Tamil Nadu easily won against Andhra by 10 wickets. Needing 89 for a win, openers R A Aravind 27 n.o, Prashanth Ram Kumar 61 n.o took their team home with ease.

Kerala CA: 165 and 234 lost to Karnataka 228 and 172/9 (Dhananjaya Murari 57, Ganesh Satish 20, KC Avinash 31, Kevin P Oscar 2/44, Sanuth ME 7/61). Karnataka won by 1 wicket.
