Violent students set train on fire in Bihar
Patna, Oct 22: A group of students who were agitating against the recent attack on North Indians in Maharastra set afire five bogies of the Bhagalpur-Delhi express on Wednesday, Oct 22 Khusropur in Bihar. The train was set on fire, allegedly as a retaliatory move, after MNS activists attacked students from the state, who had come to appear in railway examinations in Mumbai on Sunday, Oct 19.
The protestors were demanding strict action against MNS chief Raj Thackeray, who was arrested and sent to judicial custody on Tueasday, Oct 21 on charges of inciting violence against North Indian students. No casualties have been reported as all passengers were forced to disembark before the train was set ablaze.
