London, October 22 : Zac Efron's 'High School Musical 3' has broken records with the biggest advance bookings ever in movie history, beating initial record holder Daniel Radcliffe's 'Harry Potter And The Goblet of Fire'.
The 21-year-old's third sequel has reportedly gathered advance ticket sales of over a million pounds, much more than the Harry Potter movie.
The High School mania has further been extended to the stores with its merchandise selling almost instantly.
A kids' shop 'Adams' was emptied of its stock within the first few hours of going on sale online and is said to have repeated its orders by 40 percent to cope with the soaring demands.
"The demand is phenomenal," the Daily star quoted marketing head Mark Anderson as saying.
"High School Musical products including T-shirts and undies are flying off shelves," he added.
