TN 123-3, Karnataka score 210

Bangalore, Oct 20 (UNI) Tamil Nadu made 123 for three in 49 overs in reply to Andhra's paltry 109 in the first innings in the four day Under-22 cricket tie for C K Nayudu South Zone Trophy here today.

Prashanth Ramkumar struck a solid 54, hitting four boundaries today after play was delayed due to overnight rains. M Prabhu (0) and B Vijay Rahul (2) were at the crease at stumps.

In other matches, Karnataka failed to take advantage making just 210 for eight in reply to Kerala's lowly 165 in the first innings.

Ganesh Satish top scored with 56, while Sunil N Raju was batting on 42. Kevin P Oscar took three for 34 Kerala.

Goa were 112 for 4 in the third match against Hyderabad's 195 in the first knock when play was halted 30 minute before close due to rain. Aniket Desai made 49 to prop up the Goa innings.
