Rathod to stage 'dharnain New Delhi
Mumbai, Oct 20 (UNI) Expelled BJP MP Harisingh Rathod, a leader of Denotified Nomadic Tribes (DNTs) of India, will be sitting on a 'dharna' in front of Mahatma Gandhi's statue at Sansad Bhavan in New Delhi on October 22, demanding the early implmentation of the Balkrishna Renke Commission report.
He said, in a release, that his step was to draw the Centres attention towards the plight of the DNTs and also to create awareness amongst general public and politicians.
Mr Rathod is demanding that seven percent reservation should be granted to the 15 crore DNTs of the country, out of the 27 per cent reserved for the OBC category.
