Police nab one more IM suspect
Madikeri, Karnataka, Oct 20 (UNI) One more suspected member of Indian Mujahideen terror group, that triggered serial bomb blasts in different parts of the country recently, was today nabbed by the police at Kushalnagar near here in Kodagu district today.
The arrest, made by Mangalore police, comes in the wake of the arrest of six persons in Dakshina Kannada and Chikmagalur districts during the last two weeks.
Police sources said they had found the person's phone number in the cell phone seized from one of the six arrested. The arrested, identified as Abbas, was a fish seller. He had been taken to Mangalore by the police.
Police had seized from the six suspects, bomb making materials and other illegal materials from the six persons arrested earlier.
The had allegedly produced raw materials to make crude bombs that was similar to the bombs used to trigger serial blasts in Delhi recently.
