Jaya condoles death of film personality Sridhar

Chennai, Oct 20 (UNI) AIADMK General Secretary and former actor J Jayalalithaa today condoled the death of veteran south Indian film director C V Sridhar here.

In a condolence message Ms Jayalalithaa, who was introduced as heroine to films by the famed director, said Sridhar had made some ''unforgettable films'', which were still being talked about.

Observing that some of Sridhar's films were ''timeless classics'' , she said his death was a big loss to the world of performing arts.

She also conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
