Four day match between Mumbai and Saurashtra ended in draw

Rajkot, Oct 20 (UNI) The four-day C K Nayudu Trophy (under 22) tournament between Mumbai and Saurashtra ended in a draw and Saurashtra garnered three points by virtue of their first innings lead.

On the fourth and the last day , Mumbai resumed their first innings at the overnight score of 351 for 5 were all out for 473 runs.

For Mumbai, Aditya Tare and S Wagh made half centuries scoring 53 and 65 runs respectively while Rohan Raje chipped in with 27 runs. Bhavik Gor and Saurya Sanandiya scalped four and three wickets by conceding 82 and 104 runs respectively.

Saurashtra preferred not to enforce follow on to Mumbai and decided to bat. At the close of the match Saurashtra were 63/3 in 29 overs.

Saurashtra got 3 points from this match taking their total point tally to 6 from two matches.Saurashtra will play their remaining two matches against Baroda and Gujarat in the next month.
