Fire at Bharat Diamond Building
Mumbai, Oct 20 (UNI) A major fire engulfed the first floor of the Bharat Diamond Building at the Bandra-Kurla Complex in the western suburbs here today.
According to fire brigade sources, several industrial galas on the first floor of the building were gutted in the fire, which broke out at around 1845 hrs.
Eight fire engines and seven water tankers rushed to the spot to extinguish the blaze.
No casualties have been reported so far and the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, sources added.
