Czech Rep keen to help with Mizoram
Aizawl, Oct 20(UNI) Czech Republic Ambassador to India Hyneck Kmonicek today said his country was keen to build economic ties with Mizoram.
Kmonicek, accompanied by six colleagues from the Czech Republic Embassy, met Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga here this morning and held talks on aviation.
The Czech Republic Ambassador said his country wass ready to supply technology and equipment adaptable to the hilly terrain of Mizoram.
The Chief Minister told the Ambassador that plans were afoot to construct two to three smaller airports, in addition to Lengpui Airport, and a few helipads as the state was difficult to be accessed by roads.
