Two bookies arrested in Nagpur
Nagpur, Oct 19 (UNI) Police arrested two people, for accepting bets on the ongoing cricket test match between India and Australia, being played at Mohali, here today.
According to police, the bookies, identified as Govind Musadhilal Agrawal (46) and Jayesh Shivshankar Agrawal (40), were nabbed from a flat in the Abhyankar Nagar locality of the city this afternoon.
A television set, a telephone, ten mobile telephones and a laptop computer, besides cash, were seized from them, they said.
The flat was owned by Govind Agrawal, police said.
