GOLS launches eLearning course for AMFI certification

Mumbai, Oct 19 (UNI) City-based GurukulOnline Learning Solutions (GOLS), the pioneer and innovator of eLearning in India, reinforced its leadership in financial education with the launch of online training for Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI) certification.

The course is offered at an introductory price of Rs 995 only.

Anyone with 10+2 can enrol for this course, which will help them to pass AMFI certification test.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has made passing of AMFI certification (Advisors module) mandatory for any entity or person engaged in marketing and selling of mutual fund products and obtain registration number from AMFI. Firms and corporates will have to obtain certification of registration from AMFI and all employees of corporate distributors engaged in selling and marketing of mutual fund products have to pass the AMFI certification test (Advisors Module) and obtain registration with AMFI before canvassing business of mutual funds.

The mutual fund industry has over Rs five lakh crores as Assets Under management (AUM) and is growing at 40 per cent for the last two years, according to AMFI sources. Currently, the industry employs over five lack professionals and every year more than one lakh professionals are required by the industry.
