Silver, gold open down on bullish advice
Mumbai, Oct 18: Value of silver and gold further declined in the opening session on Saturday, Oct 18 with the white metal tumbling by Rs 330 per kg and yellow metal by Rs 45 per ten gm, from its previous close following lack of demand, traders in the Bombay Bullion Association said.
The silver opened below 18k at Rs 17,795, while gold at Rs 12,585. Following were the opening domestic spot rates: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade: Rs 17,795 Gold (per 10 gm): 99.5 purity standard mint: Rs 12,585 99.9 purity pure gold: Rs 12,645.
