Kochi, Oct 18 (UNI) Coming down heavily on the LDF Government in Kerala, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vayalar Ravi today said it had ''lost face'' and was trying to ''sabotage'' development projects initiated by the Centre.
Inaugurating the reception committee office of the Kerala Pradesh Congress convention here, he said ''there is infighting in the LDF and this is hampering functioning of the government.'' As per the job assurance scheme for the youth, around two million people were eligible but the state government's ''gross negligence'' in issuing cards to them is stalling the prospects of about 1.1 million unemployed in the state, he said.
Mr Ravi said the Centre had sanctioned Rs 480 crore for the development of National Highways in the state, but the Government was not able to submit viable projects to utilise the funds.
PCC President Ramesh Chennithala was also present.
