Kerala: 'Chandrika' editor bags award
Kozhikode, Oct 18: Editor of "Chandrika" daily, Mr M I Thangal has been chosen for A V Media Award for his outstanding contribution to journalism.
Instituted by A V Abdurahman Haji Foundation, the award carries Rs 25,000 and a citation, Judding Committee Chairman Sukumar Azhikode told reporters here today.
The award would be presented to him at Abdurahman Haji Memorial Meeting at Meppayur in the district on October 29, he added.
