Hyderabad, Oct 18 (UNI) With no major political party opposing the formation of a separate Telangana state, the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government should exhibit the ''political will'' to introduce the Bill for separate Telangana in the current Parliament session itself, senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu said today.
''Four-and-half years is too long a period for UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi to understand the issue. The UPA government should immediately put an end to this political uncertainty by bringing in a Bill in the ongoing Parliament session, he said in a press conference here.
He said major parties, including the main opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) had come out in support of separate Telangana state.
Stating that the BJP did not consider any political party as untouchable, he said the party was ready to work with each and every party striving for separate Telangana and was keen on dislodging the Congress from the power under the leadership of L K Advani.
Mr Advani had already declared the Party's support if the UPA decided to introduce Bill in Parliament for creation of separate Telangana state, he added.
