By Staff

Mumai, Oct 18 (UNI) Former chairman of BCCI selection committee Dilip Vengsarkar today said the controversy over Sourav Ganguly's media remarks on the previous selection committee has come to a close with the Bengal tiger denying the report.

Ganguly, after announcing his retirement from International Cricket after current Australia series, was quoted in the section of media in which he had made some remarks about selection committee.

Vengsarkar, while talking to reporters after unveiling a special diamond studded trophy to be presented to cricket legends who had won the World Cup in 1983, congratulated Ganguly for scoring 16th century and also completing 7,000 runs.

Vengsarkar also said young cricketing talents are abundant in the country, which will give good cricketers in next five years.
