Rural bank officer held by CBI in UP
Lucknow, Oct 17 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today caught an official of a rural bank red-handed in Gonda district for demanding money from a customer.
According to police, CBI sleuths nabbed Mohammad Sabir, Manager of the Sarv UP Gramin Bank of Colonelganj branch in Gonda when he asked for Rs 2,500 from the customer Gaya Buddha Singh.
Sources said the CBI had laid a trap after the customer complained to them.
A case had been registered against the Manager.
