New Zealand Jr team to train in Prakash's Academy

Bangalore, Oct 17(UNI) New Zealand's Junior team, currently competing in the Youth Commonwealth Games in Pune, will undergo a week long training at the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy (PPBA) here from October 18 to 23.

The team comprising six boys and five girls, will be training with the academy's junior players and would be playing a friendly match against them on October 20 at Karnataka indoor badminton stadium courts, according to a release from PPBA.

The training would be part of the team's preparation for World Junior Badminton Championships to be held in Pune from October 25 to November 2.
