Washington, Oct 17 : Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt has teamed up with Warner Bros to produce Greek poet Homer's masterwork "The Odyssey."
The 44-year-old star had previously starred in big screen adaptation of poet's epic poem "The Iliad" into the 2004 film "Troy", however is yet to confirm his appearance in the film.
Director George Miller has been roped in to helm the project while Pitt's Plan B will produce it, reports Variety.
Their intention is to transfer the tale to a futuristic setting in outer space.
Both Homer poems dealt with the Trojan War; "The Odyssey" focused on the exploits of Odysseus, who hatched the idea to build the Trojan Horse.
