Dharamshala, Oct 17 (UNI) After two days of bad weather, the paragliders taking part in the six-day Himalayan Paragliding Pre World Cup at Billing today finally took off the ground.
Eighty two pilots from 21 countries who started racing this afternoon landed safely at different spots during 103 km task given for today. As many as 13 of them landed at the actual landing spot at Bir this evening.
The task for the day was flying from Billing the take off site to Hanuman Mandir popularly near Sansal, then to Dharamshala and to return and land at Bir landing site.
There were 60 free fliers, including five Pakistani pilots, who took part in the free flying.
