Mysore, Oct 16 (UNI) Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President R V Deshpande today alleged that 'Operation Lotus' and attacks on places of worship were the only achievements of the BJP government in the state.
Talking to newspersons here, he alleged that not only the minorities, others were also feeling the heat of the BJP administration and investors were hesitating to come to Karnataka.
Replying to a question, he said the Congress party had not received any proposal from JD(S) about alliance for the byelections to the Legislative Assembly.
''I have been reading in newspaper statements from former Chief Minister and JD(S) leader H D Kumraswamy and party spokesperson Y S V Dutta. But nobody has spoken to me directly,'' he added.
Denying that former Deputy Chief Minister and party leader Siddaramaiah was not involving himself in party affairs, he said Mr Siddaramiah has been actively involved.
''He is a senior leader, I have a lot of respect for him and seek his advice while taking decision on party matters,'' Mr Despande said.
