Hyderabad, Oct 16 (UNI) Curfew, clamped in the wake of communal clashes in Bhainsa town during an immersion procession on October 10, will be lifted in two or three days, Andhra Pradesh Home Minister K Jana Reddy said today.

Addressing a press conference here, he said normalcy had returned to the riot-hit town and no untoward incident was reported from anywhere in the district.

Stating that the situation did not warrant deployment of army, he said Rapid Action Force (RAF) personnel were posted in the communally-sensitive town. Additional police force was also deployed in Nizamabad, Karimnagar and Adilabad.

He denied having said short circuit was responsible for the death of six people in Vottoli.

Investigation was on by the CB-CID police and none, including himself, could come to a ''hasty conclusion'' before that, the Home Minister said adding the Central Bureau of Investigation would take over the case soon.

Three people were killed and 15 injured when violence broke out at Bhainsa town during an immersion ceremony.
