Speaking on the occasion, he vowed to expose the state government on corruption. He alleged that the 'Jalayagnam' programme was only a 'Dhanayagnam' ('money making scheme) with ''kick backs in the construction of the irrigation projects'' during last four and a half years. Government lands wer being disposed off at a throw away price to corporate bodies for monetary considerations, he also alleged.
He described the Coastal Corridor and SEZs as lucrative real estate business centres.
He claimed that TDP would certainly come back to power in the ensuing elections and it would scrap the GO on coastal corridor to protect the interest of farmers. He pointed out that when the TDP government privatized the deep water port, the Congress opposed it and even attributed motives.
But now the same leaders had extended concessions to the port and even sanctioned a new port in SEZ to the Kakainada Sea ports Limited, he alleged.
He appealed to the people to ''realise the evil deeds'' of the Congress government and dislodge it in the ensuing elections.
