Ayodhya, Oct 16 (UNI) Launching a scathing attack on the Opposition parties, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader Kalraj Mishra charged BSP, Congress and their allies with backing terrorists in the country.
Mr Singh, who was here today in the city to offer prayers to Ramlala said the political groups supporting the BSP and the Congress governments were some way or the other connected with the terrorists module in the country.
The BJP leader said SP, BSP and Congress leaders visited the Ahmedabad prime accused Abu Bashar's family in Azamgarh, besides, SP general secretary Amar Singh questioned Jamia Nagar encounter, in which a policemen lost his life. Few big shots had also announced financial help to the accused held during Jamia Nagar encounter, he added.
While lambasting Rashtriya Janata Dal, Lok Janshakti Party and Samajwadi Party for putting efforts to save SIMI from ban, he said even the Congress did not give a second thought before lifting stringent laws against terrorism.
Taking strong exception over linking terrorism with religion, Mr Singh said terrorism did not belong to any caste, colour or creed and terrorists did not belong to any specific religion. Quoting instances he said most of the people in ULFA were Hindu, whereas HUJI is tranning people of both the communities.
He said delaying the execution of terrorist accused Afzal Guru had also boosted the courage of terrorists.
A public awareness compaign making terrorism its chief agenda for election would be launched, for which a rally would be organised in Varanasi on this Saturday.
