Zac Efron rubbishes 'Equus' role rumours
Washington, October 15 : Actor Zac Efron has rubbished rumours alleging that he had been asked to take over Daniel Radcliffe's role in 'Equus'.
The 20-year-old, who recently completed Disney's 'High School Musical 3', was rumoured to repeat Radcliffe's Broadway 'bare all' act while he played a character suffering from a strange sexual fascination with horses.
The young heartthrob, on being asked if his future role would be in 'Equus', dismissed the story as a rumour.
"No, that's a rumour. I wasn't approached for it," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
However, the budding artist insists that his learning process continues to be enriched while working with some of the most talented directors in the industry.
He said: "I'm learning so much every day working with great directors. I just worked with Richard Linklater and Burr Steers and also Kenny (Ortega).
"I'm working hand-in-hand with directors and taking home a lot of lessons."
