Patna, Oct 15 (UNI) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi today reiterated the government's commitment for an overall uplift of the state, claiming that the state was poised to leap into a new developed era.

Mr Modi laid the foundation of several projects in Darbhanga, including construction of RCC bridge over the Bagmati river, and other road projects and claimed that the change in the environment of the state was visible following the developmental work done during the short span of three years of the Nitish Kumar government.

He said the government would come out with a report card on the occasion of completing its three years in power on November 24.

Mr Modi said the government was sensitive towards its responsibilities and was well aware with the requirements of the state and its people.

Following an overall development, migration of labourers in search of bread and butter had gone down, he said adding that the government was trying its best to provide job opportunity to every person within the state.

Apart from developing the infrastructure, the ongoing construction work would provide livelihood to the people, he stated.
