Chennai, Oct 15 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today warned of legal action against those approaching government officials and ministers for favours by printing letter heads and visiting cards on their own with his photo and that of his son and Local Administration Minister M K Stalin.
An official release here said that Mr Karunanidhi had strictly directed officials not to entertain such letters.
It had come to the Chief Minister's notice that some people were approaching officials and ministers for favours with letter heads and visiting cards containing the photos of Mr Karunanidhi and Mr Stalin.
''The officials need not entertain any recommendations, either in person or over phone, from people claiming to be close to the family of the Chief Minister,'' the release said and warned of legal action against such persons.
