HP plans 1,000 retail partners in 650 cities by yr-end
New Delhi, Oct 15 (UNI) Computer maker Hewlett-Packard (HP) today said it plans to expand its retail footprints across the country with an over 1,000 channel partners in 650 cities by this year-end.
''We plan to increase our retail footprint across 650 cities and expand the retail partner network to over 1,000 by the end of this year,'' HP Senior Vice President (Global Marketing) Satjiv S Chahil told reporters here.
The company also launched three new models of notebooks on the lines of HP Pavilion DV 4 and DV 5 series, priced in the range of Rs 40,000-Rs 90,000.
With a 18.7 per cent share, HP retained the top slot in Indian notebooks and desktop market in the quarter April-June 2008, according to research firm IDC.
The company had posted 113.10 billion dollar revenue for the year ended July 2008.
