Dubai, Oct 15 (UNI) India's one-day captain MS Dhoni held on to the top spot among batsmen in the latest ICC Players' Rankings released here today.
Sachin Tendulkar was ranked eighth with Yuvraj Singh at 18th the other Indian batsmen in the top 20.
Australia's Michael Hussey was at the second spot. He was followed by Graeme Smith with Australian Ricky Ponting at the fourth place. Pakistan's Mohd Yousuf completes the top five.
There was disappointment for Indian fans in the bowlers list however, with speedster Zaheer Khan the only Indian in the top 20.
Aussie pacer Nathen Bracken was at the pole position with New Zealand skipper Daniel Vettori and compatriot Michell Johnson at the second and third spots respectively.
Former Kiwi pace spearhead Shane Bond was fourth while Kylie Mills was at the fifth position.
Mills moved into the top five as Vettori slipped from the number one spot.
New Zealand's Jacob Oram moved to the top of the ICC Players' Rankings for ODI all-rounders after a series-winning performance in Bangladesh.
The big 30-year-old scored 135 runs in the three matches at an average of 67.50 and took four wickets at an equally impressive average of 12.50 and the niggardly economy-rate of just 2.38. In the process, he has gained two places in the latest rankings, overtaking Andrew Flintoff of England and Pakistan's Shoaib Malik to register the highest rating of his career to date.
