SIMI activists produced before Hubli court, case adjourned to Nov 9
Hubli, Oct 14 (UNI) The Karnataka Corps of Detectives today produced nine suspected SIMI activists, under detention in judicial custody in the state, before the District and Sessions Court here for hearing of their case for their alleged involvement in subversive activities.
Asadulla, Mohammed Aasif, Yahya, Shakil Mali, Samir Siddaqui and others today presented before the Judge under tight security.
The Court had directed the police to produce in all 16 arrested terror suspects before the District and Sessions judged. The other seven terrorists in an Indore Jail being inquired by police of different states and could not be produced today.
Hence the District Judge adjourned the case to November nine.
It may be recalled that 16 suspected the police arrested the suspects since January for their alleged involvement in different cases of terrorism under in Karnataka, Goa and other parts of the nation under the banner of SIMI. The case is being heard in The Hubli court.
