Srinagar, Oct 14 (UNI) Demanding cancellation of all promotions and postings being made during the past two years, the Specialist Doctors Association Kashmir (SDAK) alleged that health care system has badly affected in the valley.
A spokesman of the SDAK in a statement here today, after an emergency meeting of the association, alleged that influential people have been promoted out of way and placed as incharges in various Sub-District and District Hospitals in the valley.
''No consideration had been given to seniority and qualification'' he said.
He said this has resulted in pathetic conditions of hospitals which had badly affected patient care.
The spokesman added that the association appealed to the Governor to revoke all the orders issued during the last two years on political basis.
He demanded that only genuine qualified and experienced people, left in previous regimes, should be placed at their merit positions.
