Patna, Oct 14 (UNI) Reiterating his committments for rehabilitation and reconstruction work in Kosi region, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today said he had demanded a special package for it from the centre.
Mr Kumar told newspersons here that the state government will send a detail proposal to the Centre within a week for the reconstruction work.
He added all formalities were being completed before the arrival of the central team to asses quantum of damages done to the region in the catastrophic floods. Once the centre accepts the proposal the reconstruction work would begin soon.
Regarding NIC meeting held in New Delhi, he said the Centre was apprised about the communal harmony. No particular community should be targetted in the name of terrorism, he stated.
Mr Kumar also advocated for representation of all recognised political parties in the NIC.
